Project notes
AI Playgrounds is built for direct classroom use, offline portability, and transparent inspection. This page explains the practical choices behind the suite and the limits of the current evidence.
Each applet is one HTML file containing its interface and logic. It can run locally without an account, backend, model download, or build process.
The site does not collect student responses. Response packets are copied or printed by the learner and submitted through the teacher's normal classroom system.
Each applet includes keyboard guidance, live text-state descriptions, reduced-motion support, and explanations that do not rely only on color or animation.
Featured experiments and scenario comparisons ask learners to predict, observe, explain, and transfer. Teacher notes identify the misconception being surfaced and what the simplified model leaves out.
Release verification includes algorithmic regression tests, source checks, and browser checks for phone, tablet, and desktop viewports. Development tests are not distributed in this artifact repository.
The project is released under the MIT License. Teachers and developers can take one applet, translate it, change parameters, or build new scenarios.
This repository contains finished website and classroom-download artifacts. Download standalone HTML files for independent offline use. Website pages can use neighbouring assets.
Automated algorithm, browser, visual, offline, privacy and accessibility engineering checks run before release. Learner and educator studies and human screen-reader testing are deferred. No WCAG conformance, learning gains or adoption outcome is claimed.
Learner responses, free text, experiment values and saved state are excluded from project analytics. Optional aggregate usage measurement runs only on the public website, not offline/local copies; privacy preferences are available on the homepage.
